About Me

Family Ski Trip, 2002, Red River, NM

Welcome to Twin Creeks Ranch, home of the Sweet Quilt-N-Bee Shoppe. My name is Julie Earsom, a newcomer to the blogging world. My husband and I enjoy the peace and quiet of our country home.
We currently own 80 acres nestled in the heart of Pawnee County, OK. Our farm is a growing business with free-range chickens, an apiary of sweet honey bees and a small herd of cattle. We have an abundance of wild blackberries. We plan to add a fruit orchard, garden, green house, and a few goats within the next few years. Our dream is to have a sustainable farm and produce what we need to survive. Living "off the grid" sounds extreme, but it may be doable, without going overboard. ;)

I enjoy making blackberry jelly and helping my husband harvest and bottle the delicious, golden honey. I also enjoy finding all-natural foods and body care products alternatives to the chemical-laden choices on the market today. God gave us so many resources on this earth for our benefit. Why shouldn't we use them, right?

Recently, I purchased a machine quilting frame and machine. I am SOOO excited to get the quilt shop set up and working. We're still going through the planning stages of setting up the quilting business. Any suggestions on business ideas/hints are greatly appreciated.

My dream is coming true, one day at a time. I'm so blessed!
